Missions
Opportunities to Serve:
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’…“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ - Matthew 25:34-36;40

WHY?
USCS believes a heart for missions is essential in a Christian’s life development. It is our desire to provide opportunities for all students and their families to serve locally and abroad. In the previous years, our opportunities have included:
1. Providing yearly Thanksgiving meals to families in the Colorado Springs Area
2. Caroling and making Christmas cards to local nursing homes
3. Yearly support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
4. Yearly collecting school supplies for schools in Uganda
5. Providing fund raising opportunities for a variety of missionary organizations
6. High school mission trip to Mexico (to serve at orphanages)
7. Monthly local mission opportunities for students of all ages
It is our hope to provide many more opportunities to serve together.
